Very Impressed - So far
Have had this laptop for a few days now so these are my initial thoughts.
+ Build quality - Feels really well put together, no flex or creaking etc. Not as solid as a the class leading MacBook Pro but then again it's approx 1/3 of the price for the spec.
+ Looks - Very understated, some might say boring but personally I hate lots of flashy lights,...
Solid performer that looks good
This laptop from Sony's e-series range is built for solid rather than spectacular performance. With an Intel Triple Core processor, 4GB of DDR3 RAM (upgradeable to 8GB), and a 320GB hard drive, it is more than sufficient for office applications, email, web browsing etc but will leave those with more demanding needs somewhat underwhelmed. Have just bought a new Vaio (from the Sony shop via Amazon). Quick to arrive, beautifully made, and very solid-feeling. Buyer Beware
PS3 is a great product however be aware they haven't solved the reliabilty problems I bought a PS3 slim in 2010 and it has already developed a fault, it shuts down after about 15 minutes of gameplay. I have researched this on the internet and am not the only one to have suffered this failure which many believe to be a power supply fault. :-(
